Humayun

I have been knitting mostly laceweight this summer, so here's another shawl of mine:

Humayun is a triangular shawl, named after the beautiful monument "Humayun's Tomb" in India, which probably inspired the Taj Mahal's architecture...

This pattern is explained using either laceweight or fingering weight yarn and has two different charts for the border, a basic border and a more substantial one.

The emerald shawl uses two skeins of DyeForYarn Fingering / 15ply Silk, a gorgeous Mulberry silk with a nice sheen, and I used one skein of Lace / Baby Alpaca/Silk from DyeForWool for the glace chestnut shawl (a bit more brown in reality), light as a cloud...

Wrong side rows are purled, and this pattern has both charted and written instructions.

You can find this pattern in my Ravelry store
Price: 6 euros
